100! The Silver Lining in the studio, Kathryn Arnold, oil on canvas

Sandra Lee of Sandra lee Gallery in SF, upon visiting the studio a month ago, selected one of the works from my 100! series – The Silver Lining. Needless to say, I am jazzed. It contains 100 small paintings which can be rearranged producing a physical form relating the concept of infinity (note title). At the same time incorporating upon a silver grid the spring flowers which bloom only once a year selected from a recent visit to Joshua Tree National Monument. So all 100 10″ x 10″ sections will be viewable at her gallery – here is a sampling of a few of the small sections:
