Well, the excitement wears off and one is left with what is. Now colder fall weather creeping in. Was able to get over to the studio on Tuesday evening for some general cleanup, pulled out some unfinished paintings that had been stored. Looking forward to burying myself in there in a few weekends – still immersed in papers and more until then. This view of the golden sky from last month reminds me I am here.

Last weekend did 24 hours in yosemite. Caught the aspens changing. I am posting photos on flickr soon. It was like this – fairy hunting. Seeing a glistening yellow in the woods, following it with my camera and shooting – then in the distance another one and so on. deeper and deeper into the woods. Just around crane flat off of 120 the whole forest floor is filled with aspens. magical for real.

Also, keep in mind I have a painting in an auction at root division – the actual auction is this Th night, I will be there around 7:30-8 PM. They are a great organization and your bids promote the arts in san francisco.
